One day layover in LA California and a run to one of my favorite beaches. Venice Beach and Santa Monica. It’s a wonderful walk from Marina Del Rey to Santa Monica while walking through wanky Venice beach, home of the fruits and nuts of the world. I have been here dozens of times, and enjoy the 4-5 mile walk. Got sunburned today enjoying people and the sights. One day layover and off to LAX, then on to SFO and Singapore. 72 hours prior to visiting some countries we have to fill out visa or entry paperwork that is required to be filled out on line. I noted that Singapore has health questions on yellow fever and did I visit any Latin American countries in the last 6 days. Yup. Whoops. Fiona sent my health card with vaccination records, but we will see if I get quarantined.

Visiting the United Polaris lounge in LA now. It’s one of 6 special lounges that can only be accessed if traveling Polaris class international. The service, food and overall amenities are, well, first class.
